LA-based actress Louise Linton lets CC Says have a look in her make-up bag and also gives us some great tips!

The Scottish beauty has starred in hit The Power of Few alongside Christopher Walken and Christian Slater. She is back in Glasgow on June 11 for the Scottish Fashion Awards.

The five most important cosmetics in my make up bag are:

1: Yves Saint Laurent "Perfect Touch Radiance Brush Foundation"
2: The Yves Saint Laurent Touche ├ęclat concealer.
3: Smashbox "Halo to Go" Hydrating Perfecting Powder
4: Chanel Inimitable Mascara
5: Wet n' WIld's $2 "This Too Shall Glass" Glassy Gloss in pale pink

Favourite brand?
My favorite brand of cosmetic is Yves Saint Laurant. The packaging and compacts are all beautiful shiny gold and match perfectly. The brush applicators in the foundation and concealers are extremely well designed and user-friendly and the compacts, such as powder and blush are made bite size so they fit into even the tiniest red carpet clutch.

Lipstick or Lipgloss?
I use both lipstick and lip gloss. During the day I use mostly a pale pink gloss for a very natural look. At night, after dark, I am never afraid of a daring bold red lip (Rimmel's "British Red" is my favourite) or using a nude lip liner to accentuate the lip.

Everyday make-up?
My every day make up must have is lip gloss. even when you have a fresh faced look or leave the house without make up, a touch of gloss is all you need.

Do you play with your make-up style?
I love to experiment with my make up. I have so much make up I have never used I have shoe boxes filled to the brim with every category of make up. Sometimes I'll see something inspiring in a film and try to recreate the look myself. I think re-invention is a fun thing for a woman and we can do it every day simply by using a new shade of lip-colour or a lick of eye-liner. It's fun to switch it up and surprise people.

Can you share a make-up tip with us?
A friend once taught me that a tiny brush of blush on the tip of your nose can make you look younger. I usually brush my cheeks with Bare Minerals, "Giddy Pink" blush then put a drop on the end of my nose and feel instantly cuter. Weird but true!!
