Welcome 2014 and a look back on 2013...the year of becoming a wife, becoming ill, getting better and looking forward

WELL, CC Says has been gathering dust after a pretty busy year for me - since it is now a new year, lets bring you some more lovely beauty/lifestyle news and let you know what I have been up to.

On July 26, I became Mrs Carla Sandlan woohoo!! (CS Says doesnt have as good a ring to it though as I am sure you will agree). People say that your wedding day is the best day of your life - that is not a lie, we had the most amazing time ever and everything went so beautifully. Rewind back two months and I was treated to an amazing hen party in Edinburgh, where my closest friends and I partied for the weekend in a big gorgeous house - amazing!!

However, the week after the most amazing hen do ever, I was in Rosshall Hospital being told I had MS. But, I am doing great after a few bad relapses, dealing with one currently not-too-serious relapse - and coping well on the weekly injections - so hurrah to that!

The MS thing was a bit of a p!sser but hey, I wasn't going to let anything stand in the way of having the best wedding ever or letting it blight my life with my new husband... and it hasn't.

I wrote about it in the Daily Record and was overwhelmed with the positive response I got from the article. Oh and I will be hosting The Bride Parade later this year in aid of the MS Society - more details here soon!

So we move on, I am back in high heels again and wearing my beloved Converse when I am not, I am starting to become a domestic goddess in our new home (circle-shaped lasagne and dome-shaped cakes anyone?) and about to bring you lots of lovely beauty and lifestyle news to kickstart your 2014.

Lots of lurve! xx
